The pages that follow are the annals of the Gringold Campaign. In 1980, a group of Bay Area friends began playing Dungeons and Dragons together. Gringold was the small town that the player characters began their fantasy lives in, and through rotating game-masters and scores of players, the campaign has grown and thrived for these thirty-seven years, along with the burgeoning crossroads of the Eldermath west coast.
It is now time to set out on a new iteration of the campaign, taking advantage of the Internet, and the interactivity it provides. It is my hope that we will continue to grow the campaign’s most important aspect, the sense of story that pervades the lives of the characters that live and breathe on the world of Aeon, and in the environs of Gringold.
I will be making additional contributions to this site, adding content from both the historical print journal of the campaign, The Grinner, and materials produced for our gaming friends in the Bay Area, and, of course, much, much more.
All illustrations and photos are drawn or otherwise taken by me. Please give credit if you use them elsewhere, thanks.

Dundracon has been the site of many, many FRP games for our group. I've run games most every year for the last twenty years, and hope to continue this practice as long as possible. Click the Historical tab above for a couple of pdf files for past runs at Dundracon.
